Welcome to the only website dedicated solely to football chants

If you want to relive some great chanting or need to look up the words of chants you have heard in the past then this is the ideal website for you.

We are currently collecting chants from every single of the 92 English League clubs as well as some Scottish clubs, some National teams and a few more. If you feel that your club has a football chant or football song that deserves to be on this site, then please navigate to your chosen club and click on "add chant".

You have the ability to add not just the chant, but also the reasons behind it or any history or stories related to it.

All submissions will be gratefully acknowledged (in other words, you'll get your name on the site!)

You Should Have Gone Trick Or Treating   Tune: Guantanamera - The Sandpipers
Words:
Gone trick or treating,
You should have gone trick or treating
Gone trick or treating
You should have gone trick or treating
  Notes:
Sung at Barnsley on 31 October 2001 -
well it was Halloween and all and City
were winning 3-0 easily...

(alternative to this also was "Gone to
the Woolpack, you should have gone to
the Woolpack" etc..

From: Wazzaw, Manchester City

Fans of the beautiful game may find themselves humming along to national teams' football chants in anticipation when they talk about the world cup, watch the matches or make world cup football bets. This summer, football will be returning to where the chants first started: Brazil. Home of legends such as Pele and Ronaldo, the Brazilian 2014 world cup will see the national teams of countries from all over the world competing against some long-standing rivals. And with 32 sides playing, a whole host of football chants will be shouted in different languages from the supporters in the seats and at home.
